Born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, Eliza Glants immigrated to the United States at the age of 18. Ms. Glants received her Juris Doctorate at Southwestern Law School after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California Berkeley.

During her studies at Southwestern Law School, Ms. Glants’s passion for immigration law and her desire to help others led her to take part in Southwestern Law School’s Immigration Law Clinic where she provided free legal representation to low-income children and adults in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) (clients under the age of 21), U nonimmigrant status (U Visa), and U-based Adjustment of Status cases. In addition to her work at Southwestern Law School’s Immigration Law Clinic, Ms. Glants worked as a law clerk at a multi-national business immigration law firm specializing in various aspects of business and family immigration.
